Learning to See is an autobiographical work by visually impaired writer/storyteller Liz Porter and is directed by Mark C.Hewitt. Still in its early stages of development, the emerging production - described as ‘a theatrical storytelling’ - will be presented as work-in-progress at mac Birmingham on 31 March 2014. The production features animated video sequences by artists Abigail Norris and Rachel Gadsden, sound design by Joseph Young and a team of practitioners developing quality creative access for future audience members with visual and hearing impairments.
